Formed in the Autumn of 1980 as Criminal Tendencies, after three years the band changed their name to Condemned. The 84 moniker was added a year later, coinciding with the release of their first demo tape. With the debut mini lp Battle Scarred and the follow up Oi! Ain't Dead E.P. topping in the National Independent Album chart. Condemned 84 can be put in the same order as Cock Sparrer, The Business and The Cockney Rejects. So many bands use Condemned 84 as a reference for their sound, their lyrics are hard hitting and tell the story off every day life: On The Run - Feel The Fear - No One Likes Us...We Don't Care! - Trouble - Remember The New Breed (We've Gotta Live On) - Meanstreak - You'll Never Take Us - No Identity - Here They Come Again - Never Surrender and We're Gonna Have Our Day.
